Today, organizations must manage relationships with their stakeholders to create many benefits for both. In line with the stakeholder theory, stakeholder groups are influenced by the behavior and actions of organizations; In fact, the survival of the organization is affected by the organization's ability to meet the needs of the stakeholders and understand their perceptions. Policies based on social responsibility are the main component in responding to social needs. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to investigate the impact of implementing strategies centered on social responsibility on organizational legitimacy. Also, the importance and performance of various social responsibility policies will be analyzed through the implementation of the importance-performance matrix (IPMA). This research is applied in terms of purpose and is carried out in a descriptive-survey way. The data was collected by field method and using a standard questionnaire. The statistical population of the research is 25 companies manufacturing home appliances and the sample size is considered using the formula introduced for structural equation modeling at the 95% confidence level by 142 corporate social responsibility experts. PLS-SEM software was used for data analysis. It showed that corporate social responsibility strategies have a positive and significant effect on organizational legitimacy. Therefore, stakeholders support organizations that they think are ethical and follow their social responsibility principles. Strategies with the orientation of social responsibility to achieve high legitimacy points are related to the diversity and multiplicity of strategies. On the other hand, social responsibility elements with lower levels of importance will be the paths of relationships between social interest strategies and policies. Therefore, company managers should continue to introduce the principles and strategies of corporate social responsibility to improve social acceptance and increase their commitment, while organizational performance will also improve.
